Equipment Repair Technician

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair swimming pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, saltsystems, and automation controls
- Provide and explain repair and installation estimates to customers
- Install new pool equipment and upgrades according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
- Perform equipment inspections and recommend repairs or replacements to customers
- Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in swimming pool equipment repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a related technical field (preferred but not required)
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to learn and stay current with new pool technologies
