Gohlke Pools Earns 2026 Masters of Design Recognition

DENTON , TX, UNITED STATES, August 25, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Gohlke Pools has earned national recognition in the 2026 Masters of Design issue of Pool & Spa News. The company had two pool projects featured in this year’s design showcase, placing Gohlke Pools in the elite top 10 of pool designers recognized for excellence in pool and outdoor living design.

The two award winning projects are the work of pool designer Wes Gohlke. “It is an honor to have our pool projects recognized among some of the best pool designs in the pool industry,” said Gohlke. “These projects are a reflection of the creativity and dedication of our entire team, and I am proud to be part of a company with such a long history of creating exceptional outdoor spaces for our clients.”

Gohlke Pools is a family-owned Denton pool builder that has been building award winning pools since 1958. “Masters of Design is one of the highest honors a pool company can receive in the pool industry and this year Wes Gohlke brought home two of these design awards” said Gohlke Pools President Matt Gohlke. “Wes has been an important part of our team since 2011 and I am proud of the work that he and our entire team staff have done for every pool that we design at Gohlke Pools.

The 2026 Masters of Design recognition adds to a long history of industry and local honors for Gohlke Pools. The company has been named among Pool & Spa News’ Top 50 Pool Builders in the United States, including a No. 24 ranking in 2026, and has also earned recognition among the nation’s Top 50 Pool Service Companies.

The company’s other notable honors include induction into the Aqua Magazine Hall of Fame, recognition as an Aqua 100 winner for five consecutive years. Gohlke Pools has been designing and building award-winning pools for more than six decades.

We recently hired Gohlke Pools to remodel our patio and add on an outdoor kitchen. An important feature of the kitchen was a large pizza oven I ordered that from delivery to installation added a lot of complexity to our project. Bill, our project manager, handled every challenge I threw at him with patience and grace. There was some minor damage to the oven during shipping and before they installed it Bill spent a week hunting down replacement tile to repair the damage so I’d never know the difference. The oven looks perfect! Every member of every crew they had at our house were very skilled professionals but I must give a special thanks to their stonemasons, Jesus and Osvaldo. The fireplace they created for us is gorgeous. We couldn’t be happier with our new patio and I can’t recommend Gohlke Pools enough.

Gohlke did a great job building us an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and remodeling our large patio including resurfacing the concrete. Always on schedule, all over the worker were a class act. Bill supervising the job was a real pro and great to deal with. Placing a 3000 pound oven was a challenge and they made it look easy. Real attention to detail. This is a great company!
