Matt Gohlke and Jody Horton are featured speakers at the International Pool, Spa, Patio Exposition at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas this November. Here, experts in the field share their valued knowledge with professionals across the nation and the world. Matt and Jody will absorb the wealth of knowledge and expertise they have been invited to add to and return to offer Gohlke Pool’s clients an even wider experience in back yard living.

The conference runs from October 31st through November 5th and exhibits run from November 3rd through the 5th.

Well—summer seems to have ended! This last cold front caused the average water temperature to go from approximately 80 degrees to approximately 70 degrees in just a few days. That is too cold for many of us to comfortably enjoy it, as most of us prefer pool water temperatures in the mid-to-high 80s. With the first average freeze date for this area being fairly soon (November 22nd), pool water temperatures will definitely continue to decrease. If you aren’t ready to give it up, you might want to consider getting a pool heater, which can stretch the swim season to 10 months per year, versus 5-6 months without a pool heater. Although this information is a bit later in the summer that it should be, maybe it will help you prevent sunburn for the remainder of the summer—especially over Labor Day weekend, which is one of the busiest swim days of the year. Sunscreen is rated by SPF, which stands for Sun Protective Factor. The higher the SPF, the longer the sun protection. Applying the sunscreen thoroughly and liberally is the key. Many times we overlook the fact that we need a waterproof sunscreen for use in pools or if we are perspiring. This is a very important consideration and must be taken into account when selecting the correct sunscreen. Freezing Warning This Week – Be Prepared

We are expecting the first freeze of the season toward the end of this week—and pool owners should be prepared, as it appears that it will be a hard freeze, with temperatures forecast to get as low as 20 degrees. The average first freeze occurring in the DFW area is November 22nd, so it appears that it will happen about two weeks behind schedule this year.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Gohlke (Gary) replaced my pump with VSP Pentair. I then had them (Dale and crew) come replace the Mastic. Getting great service I had Eli give us a quote come back to replace the Tile, pool
Light and replaster. Bill was the project manager and couldn't ask for anyone better.  I was nervous about the project but after one visit he had my complete trust.
Everyone has been so professional and knowledgeable.  I love my pool.  Can't thank everyone enough.  Special thanks to Gary, Bill, Dale, Eli, all the pool cleaners Aaron, Miguel (a couple more).
Gohlke is now my goto for Pool Care.

Although my home is outside their service area and they were not able to come out to fix my pool’s built-in freeze protection system, Connor was incredibly helpful and generous with his time.

He took the time to review the pictures and information I provided, carefully assess the situation, and explain his diagnosis and possible solutions to me—all without charging me anything. He also went the extra mile by referring me to a company that is closer to my home and may be able to handle the repair.

I truly appreciate Connor’s professionalism, knowledge, kindness, and willingness to help even though he could not take on the job himself. His generosity and customer service really stood out to me. I was very skeptical if it would actually work in this Texas heat. I have zero shade trees. Decided to just do it and it’s amazing!! Our pool went from feeling like bath water to COLD! We run it at night and that’s it. Did not raise my electric bill like I thought either. Install was amazing. Customer service was and is amazing! If you’re on the fence, DO IT!

They are courteous and attentive. They listen carefully to issues or questions we have and take time to give us informative responses.

Travis has repaired issues with the equipment and is very thorough and will the share information regarding the repairs.

The office staff is equally responsible and pleasant to communicate with regarding billing and any questions we may have.

He tried a couple of repairs but were unsuccessful. Korbin told me about spa removal and we made the decision that it was time for our hot tub to go.
A week later Korbin and some other techs arrived on time and the spa was removed in less than an hour. Everyone was helpful and courteous.
Korbin & the rest of the crew were very good representives of your company.  Thanks for a good experience.
