- Proper equipment run times—Your main filter pump should circulate for 8-12 hours of the hottest time per day during the swim season.
- Keep it clean—Keep the skimmer baskets, pump basket, automatic cleaner bag, etc. clean and free of debris. Also keep debris off of the floor of the pool, keep the pool walls and tile brushed, and clean the filter as needed.
