Spring is in the Air
With the first day of spring being Friday, March 20th—spring is definitely in the air. While none of us know what the weather will be between now and the end of summer, we can be confident that it will warm up soon and beautiful weather is ahead of us.
The Old Farmer’s Almanac forecasts the following for the next few months for the DFW area:
APRIL 2015: temperature 69° (3° above avg.); precipitation 4″ (1″ above avg.); Apr 1-8: Sunny north, a few t-storms south; warm; Apr 9-11: T-storms, warm; Apr 12-21: Isolated t-storms; cool, then warm; Apr 22-30: Heavy t-storms, then sunny, cool.
April and May will be warmer and rainier than normal, on average.
Summer will be hotter and drier than normal, despite a hurricane threat in late July. The hottest periods will be in late June, early July, and early and late August.
