That is not always possible in August—as pool water tends to heat up, oftentimes past the point of being refreshing. Most swimmers like … [Read more...] about How to Cool Your Pool Water
How to Avoid Pool Problems in Hot Weather
Thus far, our summer temperatures seem to me to be at or below normal, especially when compared to the last two summers. Nevertheless, it is hot, and hot weather can create problems for swimming pools, especially if a routine swimming pool maintenance program is not followed. We care for several hundred pools on a weekly basis, and although we don’t always succeed at keeping them clear and … [Read more...] about How to Avoid Pool Problems in Hot Weather
Fruit flavors dominate in seasonal concoctions
Fruit flavors dominate in seasonal concoctions It’s going to get hot again, and the staff at Denton Time decided it was high time to suggest some seasonal libations. Patios all over Denton are ripe for summer cocktails, and the devoted workers at your neighborhood newspaper were good for a round or two. Given the healthy number of bars and restaurant bars in our fair city, this is but a small … [Read more...] about Fruit flavors dominate in seasonal concoctions
