This has been a very interesting spring and summer in regards to weather—we had record rainfall in April & May and since that time it has been extremely dry. The 100 degree days appear to be over for this year. Soon it will be getting cold, and I recently heard a report by Pete Delkus, meteorologist for WFAA, that this winter will be 3 degrees colder than average with more precipitation.
