Getting our pool done by the Gohlke Pools was the best decision we've made. Starting from the planning process Wes was very creative and came up with solutions that fit our needs budget and the space that we had. Communication was easy and we never had to wait for replies or feel that we weren't a priority. From the very first meeting we knew that Gohlke pools was the best choice from the few competitors we had spoken to. We had the privilege to also work with some other amazing people through out the building process. Nathan was the supervisor for the whole building process and definitely the best guy for the job! He had an answer to all our questions and i'm not going to lie, we had a lot of them (us both being engineers)!! :) And besides being our "go-to guy" we enjoyed hanging out at the construction site when we had the chance and just talk with him and his crew either about the project or sometimes just joking around! :) We were surprised that even though our backyard was "out-of use" for some months we enjoyed going through this whole process and seeing it develop step by step. Mostly it was because of the people we were working with and secondly the end result was a beautiful high quality pool that is now the focal point of our backyard and gives us so much joy in the Texas heat!! :) So thank you Gohlke Pools!!! :)

We are 100% satisfied and very happy with our entire project. We are new to Texas and this is our first pool. Our project consisted of the pool along with the outdoor kitchen and pergola. Being a significant investment, we did a considerable amount of shopping around before deciding to go with Gohlke, and we are happy that we did. The knowledge and professionalism stood out from the start, and the workmanship is second to none. From the beginning, Tim did an outstanding job guiding us through the design and selection process, until the end as Nathan supervised every detail of construction while promptly addressing any and all questions or concerns we may have had. The entire process was not only positive, but couldn't have been an overall better experience. We highly recommend Gohlke Pools.

By far a WONDERFUL organization to have built our dream pool/spa. From the planning all he way through to fillingwith water the team from Gohlke walked us through every step answering our NEVER-ending list of questions. Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable, courteous and eager to please us. We couldn't be happier and HIGHLY recommend Gohlke Pools to anyone considering building a first time pool or redoing one. Quality and professionalism at its finest!!!!!?

Our pump started leaking so my husband called on Monday, Travis called back within a few minutes. He came out on... Tuesday and ordered a part, said it would be in Friday or next Monday, but they went out of their way to pick it up from Plano. He came back today (Wednesday) and fixed it! Can’t say enough good things about Gohlke, and Travis was professional and friendly! We only use Gohlke!!!read more

love this place.....everyone is helpful, plus popcorn and soda. The showroom is great and they have a great selection... of everything. The water test they do are spot on and the recommendations they give me always fixes my pool chemistry. Had issues with the hot tub we bought from them and it was taken care of fast. I have used Gohlke Pools for years on my hot tubs but I just bought a brand new Jacuzzi hot tub from them and have had... it now for 5 weeks and have not been able to use it yet, you set the temperature at 70 and it is 111 and saying too hot they came and put a new mother board on it and said that would fix it but no same thing, they promised a new cord on it when we ordered it and they sent a electrician and I had to pay $300 for the new cord, also they started selling a new brand of hot tubs instead if Jacuzzi and did not tell us when we were looking. now they say they are sending a crew out tomorrow to see what they can find wrong with it. I feel they owe me a brand new hot tub, why would I buy a brand new hot tub and have to have it completely redone. very upset this time around with these guys.read more

I have a 6 year old pool that has been nothing but trouble since a month after it was installed. I called for a leak... issue could not run my pumps it was so bad. Told me two weeks before they could even come out to look or test. I had water bubbling up from the side of the pool. I had to dig the holes myself and called a plumber to look at pipes. Had another leak a year or so later. Both repairs with plumbers and other pool companies looking at the issues said the pipes were not even glued. Gohlke has pushed blame on me or the water after telling me to leave it alone or blaming it on anything else. Oh and don’t even try to call the store after you get through the automated system no one knows what the other one is doing. So when asked who should I get to build my pool I always reply anyone but Gholke.read more

We had Gohlke Pools out in 2018 do some repairs on our pool deck. They cleaned out and replaced the expansion joint... between the pool deck and surrounding concrete. The original work looked good. However it was a hot summer and after 2-3 months the joint started to expand and gaps emerged. Fast forward to March 2019. We called Gohlke and had a rep come out. He took some pics and said he would call with a determination to fix. Talked to Dale today and was told that the work was not covered by warranty anymore since they only give a 30 day warranty period for the work but they would come out to fix the problem BUT I would still have to pay, but at a discounted rate. My problem when they first looked at the job site, nothing was ever said about the probability of it not working nor did they suggest any other possible solution. So we paid over $700 for work didn't even last a year. Had their concerns that were expressed today in our phone conversation been related when they first came out we would have looked for a more permanent solution.read more

Nathan at Gohlke Pools is amazing! We have had our pool for a number of years and starting having a serious leak with... our Spa. With ONE phone call, Nathan stepped in and solved our problem! It was a pretty extensive repair but they did it in a way where you cannot even see the repair work they had to do to get to the pipes. The plaster repairs are amazing! Nathan was creative, persistent, and solved the problem with speed and incredible customer service! Thank you Gohlke Pools! We love our pool and spa!read more

We tried to like Gohlke pools, we really did. After giving them chance after chance for about a year, we finally had to... let them go this month. One of our issues with our previous cleaning company (our builder's) was that they only spent a total of 4 minutes cleaning our pool and that included testing our water and adding chemicals. When I initially met with Dale, I believe, I STRESSED that I wanted a service company who would spend more time on our pool, especially with brushing. I was assured that my pool would receive 20-45minutes per cleaning and that my walls and tile line would be cleaned at every service. Things started off great and we were pleased but it all changed shortly after that. Our cleaner was changing every other week and we weren't getting any consistency in the level of service we were being provided. During one cleaning, I noticed from one of my security cameras that the guy was only in my backyard for a few minutes and sure enough, when I went outside there was still dirt on my steps/benches and the pool didn't look clean at all. I called to let Gohlke I was dissatisfied and they sent the cleaner back out to brush again. After he arrived, it was clear he was furious about it. Being a SAHM, it was very disturbing to have an angry pool cleaner in my backyard acting very aggressively while re-cleaning my pool, knowing that I was the one who he was probably upset at. It was terrifying, actually. I reported him and even sent in video and was just told by Gohlke that they "would talk to him." They started to send out different cleaners every week and a few months later, we got a great cleaner for several weeks. Then, a different cleaner and our pool was suddenly suffering again. He was not at all friendly, spent about 10 minutes at our house, most of that in his truck in our driveway. Considering that I was was paying consistently, I called again and let them know that the service was not up to par and all we wanted was the same level of service from everyone Gohlke was sending to our home. I was told by Colten again that "we're sorry, but we've never gotten complaints about him..." and just a general sense that we were getting a brush off. Again. Our final straw was when the next week, the new cleaner left a valve open and unbeknownst to us, water was spewing out directly on our pool equipment and landscape lighting boxes for several hours, shorting them out. Luckily, we were paying attention and noticed immediately when our lights didn't come on and we were able to close the valve before it froze that night. We are now in the process of finding a new company, especially one where we don't feel like we're are being given a bait-and-switch like we feel we received from Gohlke. We would never recommend them to anyone and would encourage anyone with a pool cleaner and cameras to check them once in a while. Colten even admitted to me that sometimes the cleaners would spend time in their trucks to make it look like they had cleaned longer when that was NOT the case. Like I mentioned before, we were expected to pay our bill consistently every week and it's completely acceptable to expect the same service in return. It never feels good to feel like you are just throwing away your money and sadly, that's how we felt with Gohlke.read more

Tried to fix a leak on my own 2 days ago...needless to say it didn’t go well.... I panicked and messaged Gohlke Pools on FB after hours and they responded very quickly!! Walked me through a few things, calmed me down and came out the next day to assess the damage. Today all is fixed and ready to start back up!!! I am truly thankful for Nick and Josh!!!read more

Great pool company!! Have had nothing but a great experience with them! The staff/ techs are all very professional yet... customer service oriented and friendly!! Collin was at the house recently for a heater issue and was great! Travis just left after replacing the Deck-O-Seal around the pool, he did a great job!!

I highly recommend Gohlke! We recently had a hot tub installed and worked with Wes and his team. From the beginning... Wes has gone above and beyond to provide great customer service. It started with fielding the many questions we had, taking us to a clients house to see the hot tub we were interested in, at installation, they were punctual and great at teaching us how to use it and care for it. Even after delivery, Gohlke has come back to deliver some accessories needed and move the hot tub after we changed our minds on location.

From the very start when we met with a salesman to working with the site foreman to buying things from the store, we... were treated VERY well by ALL. We couldn't be happier with our pool/hot tub combo! May not be the cheapest in town but I firmly believe you get what you pay for and to be perfectly honest I think we got exactly what we paid for AND MORE!!!
