Getting our pool done by the Gohlke Pools was the best decision we've made. Starting from the planning process Wes was very creative and came up with solutions that fit our needs budget and the space that we had. Communication was easy and we never had to wait for replies or feel that we weren't a priority. From the very first meeting we knew that Gohlke pools was the best choice from the few competitors we had spoken to. We had the privilege to also work with some other amazing people through out the building process. Nathan was the supervisor for the whole building process and definitely the best guy for the job! He had an answer to all our questions and i'm not going to lie, we had a lot of them (us both being engineers)!! :) And besides being our "go-to guy" we enjoyed hanging out at the construction site when we had the chance and just talk with him and his crew either about the project or sometimes just joking around! :) We were surprised that even though our backyard was "out-of use" for some months we enjoyed going through this whole process and seeing it develop step by step. Mostly it was because of the people we were working with and secondly the end result was a beautiful high quality pool that is now the focal point of our backyard and gives us so much joy in the Texas heat!! :) So thank you Gohlke Pools!!! :)

We are 100% satisfied and very happy with our entire project. We are new to Texas and this is our first pool. Our project consisted of the pool along with the outdoor kitchen and pergola. Being a significant investment, we did a considerable amount of shopping around before deciding to go with Gohlke, and we are happy that we did. The knowledge and professionalism stood out from the start, and the workmanship is second to none. From the beginning, Tim did an outstanding job guiding us through the design and selection process, until the end as Nathan supervised every detail of construction while promptly addressing any and all questions or concerns we may have had. The entire process was not only positive, but couldn't have been an overall better experience. We highly recommend Gohlke Pools.

By far a WONDERFUL organization to have built our dream pool/spa. From the planning all he way through to fillingwith water the team from Gohlke walked us through every step answering our NEVER-ending list of questions. Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable, courteous and eager to please us. We couldn't be happier and HIGHLY recommend Gohlke Pools to anyone considering building a first time pool or redoing one. Quality and professionalism at its finest!!!!!?

First, I want to thank Gohlke Pools for being responsive to my needs. We moved in almost 2 years ago and never had a... problem with our pool until Sunday when the pump wouldn't turn on. We have a saltwater pool, so it's imperative that it run approx 10 hours per day in this heat to convert chlorine.
Pooltroopers services our pool and I had left a not for the Pool Tech to call me last Friday when he came out. They send an email showing that they have been there and status of your pool, including a photo of your pool. He didn't call me and his work bucket was in the photo probably 2 feet from where I had left the pool pda and note. I called Cust Svc to see why he didn't call me as I had asked as there had been a couple of times that the pool was on the verge of turning green and I had to scrub the walls, so I wanted to discuss with the Pool Tech. I was told that the Supervisor would be notified and would call me.
After the pump problem on Sunday, I called back on Monday asking why I had not been contacted already and to see about getting service scheduled. I was told that would contact the Supervisor again and he would contact me about the Pool Tech and also to schedule service.
As a backup, I also called Gohlke. I told them that I was a new customer and that my pump would not come on. The immediately scheduled a service call for Wednesday (2 days) which I found acceptable. They came out today and I explained the problem to the Technician. I told him you are the expert, but based on previous experience at my former residence/pool, that I thought it might be the capacitor. He told me we could try that, but there would be now warranty on the work. He suggested that with the parts shortages that I might want to consider replacing the whole pump, not just the motor, because it looked old. My house is 6 years old. The previous owners put the pool in at least 1 to 2 years AFTER the house was built, so the pump can't be more than 4 years old. He said a new pump would be about $1200 or a high efficiency pump around $2000.
He then went to his truck, got a new capacitor and installed it. WaaLaa...it worked!!!
He sent me an invoice via email for $225 for 5 minutes worth of work and literally a $10 part if you look it up on Amazon??? The cost to fix the previous capacitor at my old house was around $50.
Yes, Gohlke did help me out in a timely manner when my other pool company was unresponsive, but $225? I was told when I scheduled the service call that the technician would come out, diagnose the problem and give me an estimate BEFORE doing any work. That's NOT what happened and then I got sticker shock for a $10 part.
I'm glad my pool is running again, but have mixed emotions about Gohlke service.read more

Being new pool owners, Gohlke Pools has been wonderful! Due to #snovid2021 we had a lot of damage to our newly acquired... pool and thankfully, they were able to get us up and running! Grayson, our route manager has taken plenty of time to help us understand everything and make sure we are efficiently keeping our pool clean and safe. He has never tired of my endless questions and always makes sure I’m comfortable before moving on to the next house. Our pump started leaking so my husband called on Monday, Travis called back within a few minutes. He came out on... Tuesday and ordered a part, said it would be in Friday or next Monday, but they went out of their way to pick it up from Plano. He came back today (Wednesday) and fixed it! Listening to the customer, respectful, kind and always answers you back via phone or email. Anytime we needed our pool expert he was always their for us no matter what time of day. I have a 6 year old pool that has been nothing but trouble since a month after it was installed. I called for a leak... issue could not run my pumps it was so bad. Told me two weeks before they could even come out to look or test. I had water bubbling up from the side of the pool. I had to dig the holes myself and called a plumber to look at pipes. Had another leak a year or so later. Both repairs with plumbers and other pool companies looking at the issues said the pipes were not even glued. Gohlke has pushed blame on me or the water after telling me to leave it alone or blaming it on anything else. Oh and don’t even try to call the store after you get through the automated system no one knows what the other one is doing. So when asked who should I get to build my pool I always reply anyone but Gholke.read more

We had Gohlke Pools out in 2018 do some repairs on our pool deck. They cleaned out and replaced the expansion joint... between the pool deck and surrounding concrete. The original work looked good. However it was a hot summer and after 2-3 months the joint started to expand and gaps emerged. Fast forward to March 2019. We called Gohlke and had a rep come out. He took some pics and said he would call with a determination to fix. Talked to Dale today and was told that the work was not covered by warranty anymore since they only give a 30 day warranty period for the work but they would come out to fix the problem BUT I would still have to pay, but at a discounted rate. My problem when they first looked at the job site, nothing was ever said about the probability of it not working nor did they suggest any other possible solution. So we paid over $700 for work didn't even last a year. Had their concerns that were expressed today in our phone conversation been related when they first came out we would have looked for a more permanent solution.read more

Nathan at Gohlke Pools is amazing! We have had our pool for a number of years and starting having a serious leak with... our Spa. With ONE phone call, Nathan stepped in and solved our problem! It was a pretty extensive repair but they did it in a way where you cannot even see the repair work they had to do to get to the pipes. The plaster repairs are amazing! Great pool company!! Have had nothing but a great experience with them! The staff/ techs are all very professional yet... customer service oriented and friendly!! Collin was at the house recently for a heater issue and was great! Travis just left after replacing the Deck-O-Seal around the pool, he did a great job!!

From the very start when we met with a salesman to working with the site foreman to buying things from the store, we... were treated VERY well by ALL. We couldn't be happier with our pool/hot tub combo! May not be the cheapest in town but I firmly believe you get what you pay for and to be perfectly honest I think we got exactly what we paid for AND MORE!!!
