Hard Freeze Warning – Protect Your Pool

With the temperatures that we are expecting this weekend, it is important that your pool equipment is prepared to handle IT.

Most pool equipment in the Denton area has been programmed so that the pumps are switched on by a freeze sensor when the ambient air temperature approaches freezing, but it is still important to make sure. Following is what you need to be looking for:

Main pump—The main pump should definitely be operating when the temperature is freezing. This helps prevent damage to other components as well—such as the filter, heater, etc.

Booster pump (for automatic cleaners)—The booster pump does not need to be operating, since water from the main pump is circulating thru the booster pump.

Pumps for waterfalls, fountains, spa jets, etc.—Pumps for waterfalls, fountains, spa jets, etc. should either be operating or should be drained. Some might be on a freeze sensor, therefore if these pumps are drained the freeze sensors need to be deprogrammed.

If temperatures reach the single digits or will be under freezing for an extended period of time, oftentimes extra precautions must be taken. A typical swim season in Denton easily lasts May thru September. Pool heaters, in this area, can stretch the swim season to 10 months per year, versus 5-6 months without a pool heater. After a very hot summer, the weather has been much cooler as of late. We have had some warm days followed by cool days and even cooler nights, which has resulted in lower pool water temperatures. Light and replaster. Bill was the project manager and couldn't ask for anyone better.  I was nervous about the project but after one visit he had my complete trust.
Everyone has been so professional and knowledgeable.  I love my pool.  Can't thank everyone enough.  Special thanks to Gary, Bill, Dale, Eli, all the pool cleaners Aaron, Miguel (a couple more).

Although my home is outside their service area and they were not able to come out to fix my pool’s built-in freeze protection system, Connor was incredibly helpful and generous with his time.

He also went the extra mile by referring me to a company that is closer to my home and may be able to handle the repair.

I was very skeptical if it would actually work in this Texas heat. I have zero shade trees. Decided to just do it and it’s amazing!! Our pool went from feeling like bath water to COLD! We run it at night and that’s it. Did not raise my electric bill like I thought either. Install was amazing. Customer service was and is amazing! If you’re on the fence, DO IT!

They are courteous and attentive. They listen carefully to issues or questions we have and take time to give us informative responses.

Travis has repaired issues with the equipment and is very thorough and will the share information regarding the repairs.

The office staff is equally responsible and pleasant to communicate with regarding billing and any questions we may have.

He tried a couple of repairs but were unsuccessful. Korbin told me about spa removal and we made the decision that it was time for our hot tub to go.
A week later Korbin and some other techs arrived on time and the spa was removed in less than an hour. Everyone was helpful and courteous.
Korbin & the rest of the crew were very good representives of your company.  Thanks for a good experience.
